User Support Coordinator needed to join an exciting high-growth business in Newton Abbot. The successful candidate will have experience providing first class technical customer service to a non-technical audience.

Cathedral Appointments are seeking a User Support Coordinator to join an exciting high-growth business in Newton Abbot. The successful candidate will have experience providing first class technical customer service to a non-technical audience. Experience in a technical support/help desk environment is highly advantageous, ideally working with bespoke software. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a well-respected company in a role offering great job satisfaction.

 

User Support Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently handling user support calls
  • Document, track and monitor problems to ensure a full and timely resolution
  • Data processing/database administration
  • Identify, escalate and resolve software issues
  • Identify patterns in caller queries and initiating resolution of these
  • Undertaking the software subscription renewal process
  • Liaising with customers regarding new annual software subscriptions
  • Testing system enhancements and upgrades
  • Providing administrative support to all other teams on an ad-hoc basis 

 

User Support Coordinator Requirements:

  • Experience within a technical support/help desk environment
  • Ability to convey technical information to a non-technical audience
  • First class customer service skills and an excellent telephone manner
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • General awareness of data protection in a sensitive support environment
  • Ability to use multiple databases and systems
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Good all-round administration and data entry skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team 
  • Ability to multi-task
