The main purpose of this role is to provide high-quality second-line UC support to their range of customers across the UK.
Responsibilities of this UC Engineer role:
- Providing remote and onsite technical support to customers and internal staff on all unified communication requirements, predominantly with a focus on Teams and Skype for Business.
- Show an extensive understanding of UC (Teams, Skype for Business) to be able to deal with a range of customer incidents
- Building close working relationships with clients and helping to plan their future needs and requirements
- Working multiple projects at one time, ensuring timely and effective delivery across the roadmap
UC Engineer Requirements:
- Experience working with Skype for Business and/or Microsoft Teams Administration
- Understand core telephony concepts (e.g. dial plans, phone number manipulation, call routing)
- Competent in Microsoft 365 server administration and configuration
