Trainee Pension Administrator required to join a dynamic and successful business based in Exeter on a full-time, permanent basis. No previous pension experience is required for this role as full training will be provided. The role involves providing customers with excellent service as well as technical administration work. The successful candidate will enjoy working with numbers, have excellent attention to detail and be a confident user of Excel. This is an exciting entry-level position for someone looking to take their first steps in a Pensions Administration career.

Responsibilities include: -

  • Produce quality work within specified timescales laid down in service contracts
  • Carry out a number of administration tasks, on a portfolio of pension schemes
  • Organise and prioritise own work, ensuring completion within quality standards and agreed service levels
  • Assist others on the team as required and support change and development activities within the team
  • Provide ideas and suggestions for improving working methods taking into account client and member experience, where appropriate implement and document to the Service Delivery Manager for adoption across the business

Requirements: -

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow processes and procedures
  • Grade A-C in GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
  • Excellent numeracy skills
  • The ability to plan and prioritise own workload
  • Willingness to learn new skills
  • Solid IT skills to include a sound working knowledge of MS Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
