Summary:
Our client, a well-respected Accountancy and Business advisory firm based in South Molton, is on the lookout for a Tax Manager to join their Tax Advisory team on a full-time, permanent basis. You will be providing Tax Advisory services to both pre-existing and new clients. You should ideally be a CTA or ACA/ACCA qualified Tax specialist with a demonstrable track record of tax technical work.
What will you be doing as a Tax Manager?
- Undertaking work including but not limited to demergers, reorganisations, R&D, capital allowances, international taxes and complex compliance.
- Dealing with a varied client base ranging from enteprenurial businesses through to large UK corporations.
- Managing the firm’s tax team through providing coaching and mentoring to help promote wider business development.
Skills/Qualifications of a Tax Manager:
- You should be a CTA or ACA/ACCA qualified Tax specialist with a demonstrable track record of tax work.
- Previous experience within the fields of Corporate Tax or Mixed Tax gained whilst working within a practice would be advantageous.
- You should possess sound technical knowledge and an ability to undertake research into complex avenues of tax legislation.
- You will have strong business acumen and be eager to ingratiate yourself within the firm’s business development.
