Summary:
Our client is looking to recruit a Residential Property Solicitor to join their well-respected, long-serving Law Firm based in a beautiful Launceston location. You will join the firm’s Residential Property team and assist in managing the department, helping to motivate and lead staff so as to deliver the most efficient service possible. You should be a Qualified Solicitor with 5 years PQE, ideally gained whilst working within the Residential Property sector.
This role is mainly Office based but for the right candidate there may be an opportunity to work on a more hybrid basis.
What will you be doing as a Residential Property Solicitor?
- Managing a busy and varied caseload.
- Providing advice to clients based upon the legal issues relating to their cases.
- Drafting documents such as letters and contracts tailored to the individual needs of clients.
- Engaging in negotiations with clients and other professionals to help to secure previously agreed objectives.
- Supervising trainee solicitors and assistants and delegating the required work to them when appropriate.
- Helping to building and maintain long-lasting client relationships.
Skills/Qualifications of a Residential Property Solicitor:
- You should be a qualified Solicitor with 5 years PQE, ideally achieved whilst working within the Residential Property sector.
- Sound knowledge of the SOS document management system would be desirable.
- Some understanding and awareness of rural and agricultural property matters would be advantageous.
- You should have excellent commercial acumen and impeccable communication skills.
