Summary:
Cathedral Appointments is looking to recruit an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join a forward-thinking, dynamic law firm on a full-time, permanent basis. You will be joining the firm’s New Homes team based in Taunton. The successful candidate will be a qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Residential Conveyancer with a minimum of 2 years’ PQE. What will you be doing as a Residential Conveyancer?
- You will manage your own caseload of predominantly new build purchase files with some re-mortgage matters
- You will assist clients through the drafting of relevant documents and ensuring compliance to enable housing transactions to go through smoothly
- You will liaise with Developers, Lenders and other Stakeholders throughout the life of the transactions
Skills/Qualifications of a Residential Conveyancer:
- You will be a qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Residential Conveyancer with a minimum of 2 years’ PQE
- Prior experience of working property transactions and have experience handling a busy caseload
- Excellent, concise and effective written and verbal communication skills together with great attention to detail, including the capability to develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Able to tackle issues and problems in a logical, step by step way with an eye for detail.
- Strong IT skills with the ability to become familiar with new systems quickly
