Summary:

Cathedral Appointments has an exceptional opportunity for a recently qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive to join the Real Estate team of a busy, national law firm in Exeter. The successful candidate will play an integral part in a wide range of work across the full range of Real Estate legal services working for a varied client base, including private and public sectors. You should be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive at NQ – 2 years’ PQE.

 

What will you be doing as a Real Estate Solicitor (NQ -2 years)?:

  • You will be managing your own caseload of Real Estate Matters.
  • You will be acting for well-known regional and national developers, social housing providers, investment companies, waste operators, FE Colleges and local authorities on matters relating to commercial and residential developments, energy and waste projects, education property investment, healthcare, self-invested pension schemes and retail franchising.
  • You will be engaging in activities contributing to the firm’s business development.

 

Skills/Qualifications of a Real Estate Solicitor (NQ- 2 years):

 

  • You will be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive at NQ- 2 years’ PQE level
  • You will have already gained some experience of working on a range of Commercial Property/Real Estate transactions, and be seeking to expand your skills and knowledge
  • You will be an excellent communicator with proven technical and organisational skills
  • You will be accustomed to working under pressure to meet challenging deadlines
  • You will have an eye for detail, and be meticulous in your work
  • You will be self-motivated and ambitious, and you will possess the drive to help continue to grow and develop the business
  • You will need the ability to build strong and lasting relationships with clients, and show a genuine commitment to their business needs
  • You will be dedicated and enthusiastic and you will have the ability to work efficiently with a commitment to client care and business development
  • Ideally, you will have completed your training contract at a leading city or national practice, and have prior experience of working with a diverse range of clients
