The company are looking for a Production controller to join their team, To effectively coordinate the day-to-day production planning activities across a dynamic growing business. The suitable candidate will be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines to ensure the customer needs are constantly and consistently met. This role will require someone who is a first-class communicator as you will be liaising between directors and the shop floor on production priorities.

Production Control responsibilities include: -

  • Raise works orders, Identify and priorities urgent/critical customer orders
  • Schedule day-to-day production / Progress chasing
  • Monitoring Load vs Capacity
  • Work in conjunction with Customer Account Managers to establish an effective and achievable Schedule Production
  • Maintain manufacturing order priority and firm commitments Ensure that transactional (MRP) disciplines are maintained
  • Ensure that the work carried out is completed to a very high standard, meeting customer expectations at all times

Production Control requirements include: -

  • High understanding and proven use of ICT skills
  • Proven track record of Production Planning experience
  • Be process driven with a fact and data-based approach to problem solving
  • Ability to understand technical operations and processes
  • A willingness to learn and develop further
  • Ability to build relationships with people at all levels
