Our client, a reputable and forward-thinking Law Firm, is on the lookout for a Probate Solicitor to join their team in Exeter on a full-time, permanent basis. Your role will be centered around managing your own caseload of both taxable and non-taxable estates. You will be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive who possesses at minimum 3 years PQE, which has preferably been gained in Wills and Probate.

What will you be doing as a Probate Solicitor?

• Managing your own caseload of estate administration of both taxable and non-taxable estates including Lasting Powers of Attorney and Wills.
• Promoting yourself, the team and the firm, and engaging in marketing or business development activities as and when required.

Skills/Qualifications of a Probate Solicitor:

• You will be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with a minimum of 3 years PQE, preferably gained in Wills and Probate.
• You will be able to demonstrate strong billing performances, and you will conduct your work with a commercial approach.
• You will possess excellent IT skills, and will preferably be familiar with the use of SOS and/or Isokon.
• A strong client focus as well as excellent communication skills are essential for this role.
