An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Pension Administrator to join a successful business based in Exeter within their highly diverse and experienced Pensions team. The main purpose of the role is to process a range of tasks concerning the management and movement of pension scheme funds and to maintain scheme databases. The role offers a blend of customer services and technical administration work. If you are proficient in Excel, have impeccable attention to detail, and strong numeracy skills then this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

This is a full-time, permanent role. Please note, no previous pensions experience is required as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities include: -

  • Carry out a number of administration tasks, on a portfolio of pension schemes
  • Process a range of tasks concerning the management and movement of pension scheme funds and maintaining scheme databases, monthly, quarterly and year-end processes
  • Produce quality work within specified timescales laid down in service contracts
  • Organise and prioritise own work, ensuring completion within quality standards and agreed service levels
  • Assist others on the team as required and support change and development activities within the team

Requirements: -

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow processes and procedures
  • Excellent numeracy skills
  • The ability to plan and prioritise own workload
  • Grade A-C in GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
  • Willingness to learn new skills
  • Solid IT skills to include a sound working knowledge of MS Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous Pensions or Financial Services related experience would be advantageous
