An Accountancy firm within Exeter are looking to recruit a Payroll Manager to join the team due to the fast growth within the company. The ideal candidate would have proven Experience within Payroll and the ability to adapt to the changing environment that the organisation works within.

Payroll Manager Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with clients to ensure that you have all the information required to run their payrolls
  • Processing tax and allowances, Dealing with payroll and bank credits
  • Providing a pensions auto enrolment service
  • Calculate wages and salaries to include shift payments, overtime compensation, and pension contributions - Prepare and process monthly payroll to set timescales
  • Issue employees’ salaries by electronic transfer and calculate pay raises and bonuses
  • Resolve issues line managers or employees have with timesheets, payslips and other payroll matters

Payroll Manager Requirements:

  • You will need to be able to adapt to the changing environment that the organisation works within
  • A desire for variety and a willingness to contribute in shaping this role as the organisation enters a period of significant growth
  • Experience of working in a bureau
  • Knowledge of Brightpay Payroll desirable but not essential
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office suite
  • A sharp eye for detail and ability to work to tight deadlines
  • The ability to commute to the office in Pynes Hill, Exeter
