Cathedral Appointments has a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified (NQ) Solicitor or Legal Executive to join the Real Estate department of a well-established, local firm based in Exeter. You will be assisting two Chambers ranked Partners who focus on Real Estate work relating to the mining, minerals and waste sectors, assisting with often complex and high value mineral or waste related transactions.
Responsibilities:
- You will be working as a Solicitor within the Real Estate team dealing with mines, minerals, waste and other natural resources (such as forestry)
- You will also have the opportunity to help other members of the team with all aspects of property sales and purchases for sites across the country
- You will be involved in business development and marketing activities
Requirements:
- You will be a newly qualified (NQ) Solicitor or Legal Executive
- You will have a keen interest in pursuing a career as a specialist Real Estate Solicitor, specifically dealing with work relating to mines, minerals and other natural resources
- You will have a friendly disposition with the ability to adapt and to be flexible
- Previous work experience in a strong Real Estate team dealing with general Commercial Property and/or Rural/Agricultural Property is desirable
- Exposure to minerals and/or waste sectors would be a distinct advantage but is not essential
