Summary:
Our client, a well-respected Law Firm based in Exeter, is looking to recruit a Private Client Legal Secretary on a full-time, permanent basis. You should be an experienced Legal Secretary who can provide excellent secretarial and administrative support to the firm’s Private Client department.
This role is intended to be full-time, however for the right candidate, a part time (4 day/week) role may be considered.
What will you be doing as a Private Client Legal Secretary?
- Preparing correspondence and documents through audio-typing.
- Maintaining client files to a high level, including daily filing duties and the administration of client files and documents.
- Organising appointments, arranging meetings and maintaining diaries.
- Utilising case management and accounts procedures.
Skills/Qualifications of a Private Client Legal Secretary:
- You should be an experienced Legal Secretary with exceptional administrative skills.
- You should have proficient IT skills, with sound knowledge of Microsoft Office in particular.
- The ability to be proactive and to work well in a team is essential.
- You should have excellent use of your own initiative.
