Our client, a reputable Law Firm, is searching for a Legal Secretary to work in their Exeter Residential Property department on a full-time, permanent basis. Your role will be centered around the general administration of client files, as well as dealing with emailed or telephone client enquiries. You will already possess some previous experience working in Residential Property, and you will be an excellent communicator.


What will you be doing as a Legal Secretary in Residential Property?

  • Undertaking general administration of client files.
  • Dealing with emailed or telephone client enquiries.
  • Obtaining documents from the Land Registry and preparing contracts and transfers.
  • Lodging SDLT returns and preparing and lodging Land Registry applications online.


Skills/Qualifications of a Legal Secretary in Residential Property:

  • You will have some previous work experience in Residential Property.
  • You will be a strong communicator and comfortable ensuring that clients have all the information that they need.
  • You will be well organised with a proactive attitude, and an ability to adapt well to the tasks you are faced with.
