Our client is looking to recruit a Private Client Legal Secretary to join them in their Wellington office on a full-time, permanent basis. Your role will be centered around providing consistent administrative support to fee earners. You will have a background working as a legal secretary, and minimum typing speed of 60wpm.

What will you be doing as a Legal Secretary?

  • Undertaking a high quantity of typing work, whether that be audio or copy typing.
  • Providing general administrative support to the fee earners.
  • Dealing with the diaries and schedules of fee earners.
  • Communicating with the firm’s clients over the telephone.
  • Making appointments and arranging meetings.
  • Maintaining client files to an impeccable standard.
  • Undertaking the maintenance of daily filing.

Skills/Qualifications of a Legal Secretary:

  • You will be a highly organised individual, with a strong legal secretarial background.
  • You will have a minimum typing speed of 60wpm.
  • You will have a commitment to delivering high quality, professional service to all clients.
  • A flexibility in your approach to work as well as an ability to meet deadlines with ease is essential.
