Our client, a forward-thinking and well-respected Law firm, is on the lookout for a Property Litigation Secretary to join their Yeovil based team on a full-time, permanent basis. Your role will be centered around managing diaries, drafting correspondence and undertaking typing work. You will have gained some prior experience working as a Legal Secretary, and you will have a minimum typing speed of 60wpm.

What will you be doing as a Property Litigation Secretary?

  • Managing the diaries of Partners and Lawyers, setting up meetings, arranging travel and booking attendance at various events.
  • Drafting correspondence as and when necessary.
  • Undertaking typing work, preparing and formatting documents.
  • Maintaining compliant and accurate file management systems, including but not limited to client care letters, audits and file reviews.
  • Undertaking billing duties including the preparation of reports and schedules which meet client expectations.

Skills/Qualifications of a Property Litigation Secretary:

  • You will have gained some prior experience working as a Legal Secretary, or you will have some general secretarial experience.
  • You will be a highly organised individual with honed administrative skills, and a minimum typing speed of 60pm.
  • You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A strong client focus and a commitment to delivering impeccable service is essential.
  • You should be able to work flexibly to tight deadlines.
