Summary:

Our client, an esteemed and prominent Law firm based in Taunton, is on the lookout for a Legal Secretary to join their Employment Law team on a full-time, permanent basis. The role is centered around providing support to Fee Earners on a wide variety of matters relating to the workplace. You should have a strong legal secretarial background, with excellent communication skills.

 

What will you be doing as an Employment Legal Secretary?

  • Preparing Legal documents through the means of audio typing.
  • Managing Client files and data to a high standard, including general filing duties and file opening, closing and retrieval.
  • Organising appointments and maintaining a diary.
  • Using case management systems and accounts procedures.
  • Communicating with Clients and professional contacts whether virtually or in person.

 

Skills/Qualifications of an Employment Legal Secretary:

  • You should possess a strong Legal Secretarial background with sound administrative skills.
  • You should have a minimum typing speed of 60 wpm.
  • You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A commitment to delivering a high quality, professional service is essential.
  • You will be able to meet strict deadlines with ease.
