Cathedral Appointments has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Legal Assistant to join a small, niche law firm within their Commercial Property team based in Exeter. The successful candidate will ideally have either Commercial Property or Residential Conveyancing experience and will be looking to work for a friendly, flexible law firm. This role can be part-time or full-time. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • You will provide the Commercial Property fee earner with general administrative and secretarial support
  • You will provide support in relation to fee earning work, dealing with matters from initial instruction to completion
  • You will liaise with clients by email, on the phone and in person, accurately recording any messages and passing on to the appropriate person 

 

Requirements:

  • You will be an experienced Legal Assistant with a specific background within Commercial Property or perhaps Residential Property
  • You will have good working knowledge of the Commercial/Residential conveyancing process
  • You will have excellent IT skills
  • You will be an excellent communicator with strong organisational skills
