Our Client, Our Client, a leading managed services provider, is looking for a IT Support Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring customers and users receive timely and friendly assistance.
This role offers Hybrid working, with access to the Gloucester office. Working hours 9 am – 5 pm Monday – Friday.
IT Support Engineer responsibilities include: -
- Liaising with customers, partners and suppliers via incoming calls, emails and incident tickets
- Supporting customers with software and hardware applications
- Fault analysis
- Maintaining company systems
IT Support Engineer requirements include: -
- Previous knowledge of the Telecoms and/or the IT industry in previous technical support roles
- Excellent knowledge of computer networking and security, including firewall solutions, routing, switching, and VPN technologies
- Experience of Cloud based Telephony platforms, maintaining and supporting Mobile Telephony and Windows desktop operating systems
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written in a B2B environment including being well-versed in Microsoft Office products
- Qualifications such as CompTIA N+or CCNACisco Certified Network Associate would be an advantage.
