Our client is looking for an experienced Insolvency Case Administrator / Senior to join their Business Recovery and Insolvency department in their Exeter office. This role would suit an ambitious candidate who has experience in this field and looking to progress their career further. Study support is also available where applicable to work towards relevant insolvency qualifications.

Insolvency Case Administrator responsibilities include: -

  • Setting up new cases and closure of cases using IPS software
  • Completion of ethical checklists, money laundering documents, and other checklists
  • Liaising with stakeholders on a regular basis, including agents, directors, and creditors
  • General day-to-day administration of cases
  • Drafting annual and final reports, statement of affairs, declaration of solvency forms, and other statutory documents
  • Agreeing creditor claims and preparation of dividends
  • Assisting with statutory investigations, including reviewing accounts, bank statements, and other documents
  • Attend client premises for meetings where required.

Insolvency Case Administrator requirements include: -

  • Working knowledge of corporate insolvency processes
  • Analytical, methodical, and numerical
  • Resilient, able to multi-task and work independently / flexibly
  • Adaptable, organised, and conscientious
  • Ability to attend occasional meetings outside normal hours
  • Good working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of basic accounting and IPS software is desirable, but not essential
  • CPI qualification, or equivalent, is desirable but not essential
