Our client, a highly dynamic and successful company based in Exeter, requires an HR Business Partner to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an exciting time to join the business and as part of your generalist role, you will focus on helping to deliver a strategy that will make a real impact on organisational growth and effectiveness, as well as attracting and retaining the brightest talent. To be considered for this role you will need to be an excellent all-rounder with a proven track record in the design and deployment of people initiatives that have demonstrably improved business growth and performance.

Responsibilities include: -

  • Organisational design and change management
  • Work with business stakeholders to drive and embed an engaging, high-performing culture
  • Provide coaching and guidance and act as a trusted advisor
  • Help to understand and identify talent gaps across the business, based on current and future needs, and assist with the development of a creative strategy to identify and source appropriate talent
  • Clarify resource requirements and work with the team to deliver against these needs
  • Support the Recruitment Team in the recruitment and selection life-cycle, including initial assessments, interviews and negotiation of offer packages, ensuring an excellent candidate experience
  • Collaborate with business management teams to diagnose and provide guidance on learning and development; identify areas that need attention and improvement and deliver effective solutions
  • Employee engagement and well-being
  • Build effective and sustainable relationships
  • Assist with wider team projects and activity as needed

Requirements: -

  • Excellent all-rounder with a proven track record in the design and deployment of people initiatives that have demonstrably improved business growth and performance
  • Commercial thinker - understands business goals and objectives and seeks to develop initiatives to support these
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build rapport quickly, form strong relationships, collaborate and influence at all levels in a fast-moving, complex business
  • Great team-worker
  • Strong facilitation and coaching skills
  • Results driven, strong attention to detail, able to juggle priorities and work on multiple projects
  • Proactive and a self-starter
  • Strong communication skills honed in business partner roles
  • Willing to make decisions and includes appropriate people in decision-making process
