The Role 

We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to provide professional, proactive, and people-focused HR support across the organisation. Working closely with the Chief People Officer, you’ll deliver a high-quality HR service covering employee relations, recruitment, training, payroll, and policy development. You’ll also lead and support two HR Assistants, helping to ensure the smooth delivery of HR operations and projects.

Responsibilities of the HR Advisor: 

  • Provide expert advice on HR matters including employee relations, performance, and wellbeing.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and development to attract and retain diverse talent.
  • Lead and coach HR Assistants, fostering collaboration and growth within the team.
  • Contribute to HR policy development and ensure compliance with employment legislation.

Requirements of the HR Advisor: 

  • CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Experience managing complex employee relations cases and supporting organisational change.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.

Package: 

  • Salary of £28,000 - £32,000 depending on experience.
  • Hybrid working model – 1 day per week in the Exeter office.
