Summary:
Cathedral Appointments is looking to recruit a Fund Research Manager to join a well-respected Financial Services Investment firm on a full-time, permanent basis. Your main duties will include providing assistance to the team with fund research and asset class analysis. Over time and depending on the candidate’s interest and abilities, there may be the opportunity to support fund managers with the implementation of portfolio changes.
This role will be based in a central Bristol location in close proximity to the waterfront and several fantastic amenities.
What will you be doing as a Fund Research Manager?
- Preparing data for fund due diligence meetings, writing due diligence reports and presenting recommendations in fortnightly fund research meetings.
- Analysing attributions on a fund/blend of funds to determine their value add to the portfolio.
- Contributing to Thought Pieces on funds and/or asset classes.
- Dealing with general administrative fund research enquiries arising from the sales team, advisers, internal personnel and the media.
Skills/Qualifications of a Fund Research Manager:
- You should be level 6 or 7 qualified (eg CISI Chartered Wealth Manager or CFA).
- You should have at least 4 years of experience in fund analysis across core fixed interest and equity asset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, as well as attention to detail, accuracy and efficiency.
- You should be an excellent team player who is co-operative by nature.
