Financial Services Administrator (1085)

Our client, a forward-thinking Financial Advisory firm is looking to recruit a Financial Services Administrator to join them in their Torquay office on a full-time, permanent basis. Your role will be based around providing administrative support to Managing Directors/IFA’s, and you will be a primary contact point for the Financial Services business. You have an inquisitive mind, and an excellent problem-solving ability.

What will you be doing as a Financial Services Administrator?

  • Maintaining service levels according to office procedure.
  • Typing correspondence, forms and documents on behalf of the Managing Director/IFA’s.
  • Checking work for typographical and grammatical errors.
  • Ensure that all details required on firm’s databases, particularly in relation to client matters, are completed in full and updated as and when appropriate.
  • Dealing with telephone calls and recording messages for team members concerned.
  • Producing quotations, illustrations, research and reviews at the request of the Managing Director/IFA’s.
  • Contacting clients or team members upon instruction of the Managing Director/IFA’s.

Skills/Qualifications of a Financial Services Administrator:

  • You will have some prior Financial Services Insurance and Technical knowledge.
  • You will be an excellent communicator and able to deliver impeccable client service.
  • You will possess a thorough understanding of Financial Services products and procedures.
  • A competency with all internal office systems is essential.
  • You will have knowledge of a local market, and will keep abreast of trends.
