Our client, a Financial Advisory firm based in Ottery St Mary, is searching for a Financial Adviser to join them on a full-time, permanent basis. Your role will be focused around delivering the firm’s client service proposition to the highest standards, whilst also adhering to FCA rules and procedures. You will have a minimum of 5 years PQE working with high-net worth clients, and you will be qualified to Advanced Diploma level 6.

What will you be doing as a Financial Adviser?

• Communicating with clients to determine their expenses, income, insurance coverage, and financial objectives, among other details.
• Providing advice to clients regarding financial plans and strategies.
• Advising clients regarding insurance coverage, investment planning, cash management and other areas to help them reach financial objectives.
• Reviewing client accounts regularly to check if any changes in their plans are necessary.
• Preparing or interpreting financial document summaries, investment performance reports, and income projections for clients.
• Building and maintaining your client base.

Skills/Qualifications of a Financial Adviser:

• At minimum, you should have 5 years’ experience working with high-net-worth UK resident private clients, delivering financial planning and investment management services with a good track record.
• You should be qualified to an Advanced Diploma level 6 and have a sound command of the financial planning process and regulatory frameworks.
• You should possess excellent communication skills and have an ability to listen, empathise and build trust with clients.
• You will be able to analyse and interpret quantitative and qualitative data in order to diagnose a challenge or opportunity.
• An ability to be trustworthy and diplomatic is essential.
• You will have a strong sense of initiative and will be able to manage your goals and deadlines effectively.
