Our client is a market-leader in providing technology-enabled administration solutions to the financial services industry with over 7,000 employees working across 17 jurisdictions, including Australasia, Asia and Europe. Responsibilities
 

  • Maintain the accounting records for a number of large fund clients (assets in the £ 100’s of millions), and liaise with the Investment Managers with respect to the funds’ activities
  • Review of Monthly/Quarterly accounting reports in accordance with agreed timetables
  • Produce Board packs and attend Board meetings
  • Review of Net Asset Valuation reports and supporting calculations
  • Prepare half year and annual financial statements in accordance with the relevant accounting standards (IFRS and UK GAAP) and liaise with Auditors
  • Act as a mentor to junior staff and oversee their work

Requirements
 

  • Recently qualified accountant (0-2 years PQE) - may also consider nearly qualified accountants with last few exams remaining.
  • Prior experience in an accounting position
  • Strong communication skills
  • Computer literate with good Excel skills
  • Ability to work to regular deadlines
