Responsibilities
- Maintain the accounting records for a number of large fund clients (assets in the £ 100’s of millions), and liaise with the Investment Managers with respect to the funds’ activities
- Review of Monthly/Quarterly accounting reports in accordance with agreed timetables
- Produce Board packs and attend Board meetings
- Review of Net Asset Valuation reports and supporting calculations
- Prepare half year and annual financial statements in accordance with the relevant accounting standards (IFRS and UK GAAP) and liaise with Auditors
- Act as a mentor to junior staff and oversee their work
Requirements
- Recently qualified accountant (0-2 years PQE) - may also consider nearly qualified accountants with last few exams remaining.
- Prior experience in an accounting position
- Strong communication skills
- Computer literate with good Excel skills
- Ability to work to regular deadlines
