Our client, a dynamic UK accountancy firm, providing a comprehensive range of services across a wide range of sectors within Exeter are looking to recruit a Finance Assistant on a Part Time basis. The Role of the Finance Assistant to support the Finance Director and Finance Manager in managing, processing, and troubleshooting accounts, payments, and transactions.
Finance Assistant Responsibilities:
- Processing supplier invoices through an online invoice management system and setting up payments to suppliers and other parties.
- Carrying out activities to support the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Carrying out and recording fortnightly purchase invoice and staff expense payment runs
- Responding to queries from clients, suppliers and colleagues
Finance Assistant Requirements:
- AAT qualification or part qualified (or equivalent)
- Good IT skills, including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and work well under pressure
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- An understanding of data privacy and requirements
- Great accuracy and attention to detail
