A brilliant opportunity for an experienced Family Lawyer to join a well-established law firm in their Launceston office. This role would suit a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with a minimum of 2 years’ PQE who has dealt with the full range Family Law matters.
Responsibilities:
- You will deal with a broad range of Family Law matters, including divorce, finances, civil partnership, domestic violence, co-habitation rights, pre-nuptial agreements, and private law and public law children matters
- You will always be working to positively promote the reputation of yourself, your department and the wider firm
- You will work to time and billing targets as set by the firm
- Travel to other offices may be required
Requirements:
- You will be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with a minimum of 2 years’ PQE
- You will have extensive Family Law experience
- You will be able to effectively run your own large and varied caseload of matters
- You will be happy to work under pressure in a very busy role
- You will be happy to work individually and as part of a team
- You will be self-motivated, enthusiastic and driven to succeed
- You will have excellent client care skills
- Ideally, you will have Legal Aid experience
