Our client, who help people with wireless connectivity worldwide are looking to recruit an Electronics Design and Support Engineer to join in their passion to provide affordable connectivity. The client is looking for engineers with a strong grasp of fundamental principles to help accelerate the development of their leading-edge products with their enthusiasm and ability.

Electronics Design & Support Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed design, analysis, and proving of digital and analogue circuitry including power supplies.
  • Perform system level testing of new products.
  • Work with the factory to put those designs into manufacture.
  • Assist the factory in debugging existing products, making design improvements as required.
  • Lead the maintenance of existing products and the research and proving of alternative components for designs in production.
  • Review production yields, pinpoint failures, and put recovery actions in place to improve output.

Electronics Design & Support Engineer Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (Essential)
  • Able to design analogue circuits, simple filters, transistor, and op-amp circuits (Essential)
  • Can perform digital design using state diagrams, discrete logic, microprocessors, FPGAs (Essential)
  • Able to perform circuit testing using oscilloscopes, logic analysers etc. (Essential)
  • Analytical skills, ability to drill down into problems to find the root cause (Essential)
  • Enthusiasm to learn new ideas and skills (Essential)
