Electronic Design & Test Engineer opportunity to join a leading global manufacturer of innovative and ground breaking products.  As electronic design and test engineer you will apply your original thinking skills to solving development problems, bringing new products into production and supporting those already in production.

What will you be doing as an Electronic Design and Test Engineer?

  • Perform detailed design, analysis and proving of analogue and digital circuitry.
  • System level testing of new products, particularly concerning Ethernet interfaces.
  • Collaborating with the factory to put designs into manufacture.
  • Aiding the factory in debugging of existing products, and making relevant design improvements as required.

Skills/Qualifications of an Electronic Design and Test Engineer:

  • Degree qualified in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
  • Experienced in the design of Ethernet based systems.
  • Capable of designing analogue circuits, simple filters, transistor and op-amp circuits.
  • An ability to perform circuit testing using oscilloscopes, logic analysers, traffic testers.
  • Strong analytical skills and an ability to discover the root cause of a problem.
