Summary:

Cathedral Appointments is on the lookout for an experienced Dispute Resolution Lawyer to join a local, well-established law firm in Exeter. The successful candidate will have broad experience across Dispute Resolution and will have some prior  experience of managing a small team.  

What will you be doing as a Dispute Resolution Lawyer?

• You will run your own varied caseload of matters, which could include; Employment, Inheritance Act and Contentious Probate, Contract disputes, Civil procedure, Shareholder and Partnership disputes, Debt collection, Construction disputes, Housing/landlord and tenant disputes, Boundary disputes.
• You will manage a small team- allocating work, undertaking day to day supervisory duties, coaching/mentoring team members and ensuring training needs are met.
• You will keep up to date with changes and developments in the law.
• You will build and maintain a network of contacts and referrers.

 Skills/Qualifications of a Dispute Resolution Lawyer:

• You will be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with extensive general Dispute Resolution experience.
• Desirable experience areas are; Employment, Inheritance Act and Contentious Probate, Contract disputes, Civil procedure, Shareholder and Partnership disputes, Debt collection, Construction disputes, Housing/landlord and tenant disputes, Boundary disputes.
• You will have had some prior experience of managing a team.
• You will have strong technical ability.
