Our client is looking to recruit a talented Digital Marketing Manager on a full-time, permanent basis. Duties include taking ownership of the organisation’s social media channels and creating and implementing a digital marketing strategy for its HR department. The successful candidate will have over 3 years of prior marketing experience, either within a digital marketing agency or an in-house senior digital marketing role.

This role offers a blend of strategic input alongside hands-on delivery of digital marketing with a focus on social media and video/animation. We are looking for a creative mind to bring fresh insight to this well-respected and locally prestigious brand.

Flexible working is on offer with a blend of remote and office working. Our client has multiple offices across the South West and so you can be based from Truro, Plymouth, Torquay, Exeter, Taunton, Salisbury, or Bristol.

Responsibilities:

  • Writing and putting in place a digital marketing strategy for People Services (HR).
  • Working with the HR team to promote job roles and increase the number of quality candidates who are applying for positions.
  • Overseeing the organisation’s social media channels including Youtube and TikTok and use them to actively promote their brand.
  • Understanding the website user journey and implement suggestions to improve call to actions.
  • Conducting social media audits.
  • Writing commentary and shooting and editing videos.
  • Plan digital marketing campaigns including SEO, PPC, display advertising and email.
  • Overseeing a number of agencies to improve performance and return on investment.
  • Drive forward a data-driven approach with A/B testing and regular updates on digital performance to be able to develop and learn.
  • Engage with troubleshooting and resolving queries.
  • Keeping updated with the latest social media trends.

Person Specification:

  • 3+ years experience of digital marketing, preferably with an agency.
  • Digital qualifications are desirable, particularly CIM, Google etc.
  • Someone with an understanding of social media platforms.
  • Experience of executing paid social media campaigns.
  • Impeccable communication skills and an ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently.
  • A proactive attitude and an ability to multitask.
  • A strong team player with sound project management skills.
  • An individual who loves to engage with people on social media.
  • Somebody who loves to spot trends and clues within data to understand what makes people tick.
  • An individual who is a visual storyteller and can create compelling videos and/or animations.
