Cathedral Appointments has an exceptional opportunity for a Criminal Duty Solicitor to join a fantastic local law firm based in Exeter. The ideal candidate will have 1 years’ PQE and will be able to demonstrate detailed knowledge and expertise of dealing with a criminal law caseload. However, our client is also willing to consider an NQ Solicitor who has a passion for criminal law and would like to progress their career within this area.
What will you be doing as a Criminal Duty Solicitor?
- You will deal with a caseload of criminal law matters
- You will be able to work with minimal supervision
- You will represent clients at Court and at the Police Station
- You will travel to a variety of locations to attend both Court and the Police Station
Skills/Qualifications for a Criminal Duty Solicitor:
- You will be a qualified Solicitor with specific experience gained in Criminal Law. You will ideally be a minimum of 1 years’ PQE, however, our client will consider an NQ Solicitor
- Ideally, you will have Higher Rights of Audience
- You will be willing to work flexibly and outside of normal office hours
- You will be an enthusiastic team player
- You will have a driving licence and access to a car
