Are you highly organised and an excellent problem-solver? We’re looking for an experienced Costs Draftsperson to join a reputable law firm within their fast-paced Legal Aid team. You will be joining a well-established company that invests in its people, helping you to reach your full potential.

Costs Draftsperson responsibilities include: -

  • Liaise with fee earners to ensure that files are costed accurately and efficiently, liaising with the Legal Aid Agency, and taking all steps to cost and submit for payment of bills on legal aid files
  • Prepare bills at all levels including High-Cost case plans, apply for payments on accounts, and submit Legal Help forms for payment

Costs Draftsperson requirements include: -

  • Educated to at least A-level or equivalent, you will be capable of dealing with more complex legal aid bills and preparation of High-Cost case plans
  • Well organised with a positive & proactive attitude
  • Demonstrable problem-solving and teamworking skills
