Cathedral Appointments has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join our client’s friendly firm in a beautiful Exmouth location. The role consists of supporting a Residential Conveyancer throughout their everyday duties. The ideal candidate will have thorough knowledge of the residential conveyancing process and will be a good team player.


What will you be doing as a Conveyancing Assistant?

  • The administration of files, the ordering of searches, the raising of enquiries and general conveyancing paperwork administration.
  • Processing and verifying relevant identification and financial information.
  • Managing the linking of post and other documents to the relevant files.
  • Liaising and communicating with clients and solicitors as part of the transaction process.
  • Establishing client relationships and keeping clients updated at every stage of the conveyancing process.


Skills/Qualifications of a Conveyancing Assistant:

  • You will have some demonstrable experience of a history within Conveyancing.
  • You will be able to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • You will possess strong communication skills and an ability to communicate with a diverse range of people, whether that’s in writing, over the telephone or face to face.
  • You will be incredibly organised with a strong work ethic.
  • You will be always eager to learn more and enhance knowledge.
  • You will have an ability to prioritise and manage work alongside the Conveyancer.
  • A proficiency in using relevant IT programs such as Microsoft Office is essential.
