Summary:
Our client, a renowned Law Firm, is looking to recruit a Construction Litigation Associate on a full-time, permanent basis. Your duties will include engaging in dispute resolution and building and maintaining client relationships. You should be a fully qualified Solicitor with at least 3-5 years post qualification experience within the construction litigation sector.
The firm is well known for dealing with construction disputes, whether that be in the region, nationally or internationally.
What will you be doing as a Construction Litigation Solicitor?
- Undertaking dispute resolution tasks, including adjudication, mediation, claim resolution under the construction pre-action protocol, and engineering disputes and litigation.
- Risk management and dispute avoidance.
- Interpreting contracts.
- Overseeing domestic and potentially international projects.
- Contributing greatly to business development and working to raise the firm’s profile and attract new clients.
- Building and maintaining client relationships.
- Ensure the managing of files in compliance with Lexcel procedures.
Skills/Qualifications of a Construction Litigation Solicitor:
- A qualified Solicitor with at least 3-5 years’ PQE within construction litigation (can be within a mixed practice role).
- A strong interest in contentious construction practice.
- Sound knowledge of JCT, FIDIC and NEC.
- Demonstrable ability in file management, and a passion for growth and business development.
- Commitment, drive and enthusiasm with a can-do approach to working.
- Impeccable communication skills and the ability to thrive within a team environment.
