Buyer opportunity with our international client based in Plymouth.
This Buyer role is offered 4 days on-site and 1 day working from home.
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, as a Buyer your remit will be:
• Responsible for achieving material productivity targets
• Supporting the R&D team in sourcing direct materials NPI
• Manage the Mechanical / Electro-Mechanical categories
About you:
• A solid purchasing background gained within manufacturing to include mechanical and electro-mechanical procurement of components and assemblies
• Professionally qualified with CIPS ideally
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
