Summary:
Our client, a well-respected educational establishment, is looking to recruit a Billings Administrator/Accounts Assistant to join them on a part-time, 4-month temporary basis. Your role will be centered around helping to oversee and manage the establishment’s finances. You should ideally be AAT Level 2 or AAT Level 3 qualified.
This role is 20 hours per week, with the flexibility to fulfil these over four or five days.
What will you be doing as a Billings Administrator/Accounts Assistant?
- Aiding the Finance Manager/Fees Secretary with all aspects of the billing process for parents on a quarterly basis using SAGE.
- Preparing annual returns for the Inland Revenue and other regulatory bodies, and ensuring that all deductions are correctly calculated.
- Assisting in the maintenance of income and expenditure records using the SAGE accounting system.
- Helping with general office tasks such as banking, filing, answering the phone and dealing with queries.
Skills/Qualifications of a Billings Administrator/Accounts Assistant?
- You should ideally be AAT level 2 or level 3 qualified.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
