Our client, the largest independent accountancy practice based in Exeter, are seeking to recruit an Assistant Investment Manager looking to build a career within Investment Management and the Chartered Financial Planners sector. As part of the role, the successful candidate will be expected to attain a level 4, Diploma level, CISI / CII qualification within 3 years.

Assistant Investment Manager Responsibilities:

  • Support the investment manager with both quantitative and qualitative fund research and analysis for in-house portfolios and bespoke client requests.
  • Develop, maintain and enhance fund research library for advisers - to include portfolio funs fact sheets and peer comparisons.
  • Conduct DFM performance analysis – to include MIFID II 10% fall reporting.
  • Ensure compliance at all times with the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000, the FCA Statements of Principle & Code of Practice for approved persons, the relevant FCA rules and the Firm’s internal compliance rules and procedures

Assistant Investment Manager Requirements:

  • Ensure relevant CPD is maintained and recorded accurately.
  • Ensure compliance at all times with the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000, the FCA Statements of Principle & Code of Practice for approved persons, the relevant FCA rules and the Firm’s internal compliance rules and procedures.
