An Accountancy firm within Exeter are looking to recruit a Senior Accountant to join the team due to the fast growth within the company. The ideal candidate would have proven Experience Minimum 3 years’ experience in a practice environment and/or a Nearly or newly qualified ACA/ACCA
Senior Accountant Responsibilities:
- Working independently on the completion of Accounts and Tax Returns for a wide range of client types and structures, ready for a partner review.
- VAT return reviews and supporting staff and clients to improve their bookkeeping skills
- Assisting with managing workflows
- Reviewing work of more junior staff and helping them on their journey with training
- Staying up to date with latest accounting software updates and releases
Administration Requirements:
- You will need to be able to adapt to the changing environment that the organisation works within
- A desire for variety and a willingness to contribute in shaping this role as the organisation enters a period of significant growth
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office suite
- A sharp eye for detail and ability to work to tight deadlines
